My pronouns: he/they
I'm Tyler! I'm a classical double bassist in northern Utah with a deep passion for classical European and cultural music. I've been playing this instrument for 10+ years now. I've received the privilege to perform for and with some wonderful and talented folks like Andrea Bocelli and Loren Allred in the Delta Center (f.k.a. the Vivint Arena) back in 2021. I also had the honor to work with some artists in the Utah Symphony, the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Portland Symphony Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Additionally, I've also performed at Stanford University, the University of Utah, and Indiana University and was a 2019 George Wellington and George Vance scholarship recipient for the International Society of Bassists (ISB) Convention.
Have loved technology all my life. I have extensive interest in preventative cybersecurity and advocate for emerging technologies such as WebAuthn, Device Bound Session Credentials (DBSC), and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). I'm currently working on refining my coding skills—learning JavaScript, SwiftUI, and Rust right now. I've gotten a pretty firm grasp on HTML, CSS, DNS directories, SVG, Git, and Sieve—you know, the front-end work.
I'm a big fan of writing technical papers. I like to follow drafts registered under the W3C, IETF, and ISO. You can also view my latest technical work, the Document Organization System (DOS), on GitHub or view the latest PDF version.
DMs and email (preferably) are open, my resume is below for any folks who'd like to get in touch or read more about my experience. :)
